What’s included—

  • Full Spectrum Support

My package includes support for every step of the journey. Lean on me for pregnancy resources and support as we build a connection leading up to birth. I’ll be there to hold space and provide care while you’re recovering postpartum as well.

  • Holistic Pregnancy

Pregnancy can be a state of deep healing for the body. You will receive truly holistic support in terms of prenatal nutrition, prenatal yoga, movement, alternative health tools, as well as referrals to other talented holistic care providers in Austin, TX.

  • Birth Planning

I support clients with forming the details of their birth plan and vision. You will be encouraged to prioritize your heart and truest desires above anyone or anything else. Your vision for birth is sacred, important, and an intuitive calling to be honored.

  • Physiological Birth

As your doula, I will help you plan for and be present for honoring your body’s ability to birth naturally and in tune with its own physiological process. Birth is perfect and the body can be trusted to perform its innate intelligence.

  • Postpartum Healing

Postpartum is forever but the initial weeks of healing are a sacred time for every woman. Planning for optimal postpartum healing is often an overlooked detail in most birth plans. I will provide suggestions, tools, and resources for healing your body the holistic and ancestral ways we once followed.

  • Sisterhood

Being a part of your pregnancy journey and in your birthing space is an honor. Forming a genuine connection and bond with each of my clients is something I take pride in and know plays a vital role in how I can support you and hold space for you. I often stay in touch with clients and their babies well past their initial postpartum period.

My birth philosophy

There was a time when women would birth in community. Birth was believed to be a portal to the spirit world that took immense physical, emotional, and mental preparation. The young maidens and the wise crones came forward to support this journey of a lifetime for the birthing mothers. It was an honor to support, guide, and celebrate the mother.

In my work, I seek to bring these elements of support and ritual back into the birthing world. I will guide you through the sacred preparations and rituals as you embark on this multi-body transformation of spirit and heart.

Your body is innately intelligent and knows exactly how to grow, sustain, and birth your baby. The work lies in supporting it to perform its magic and physiological process.

What previous clients have to say—

To say Jules is a diamond in the rough, is an understatement. From our first meeting, I felt at ease in her presence and knew I would be well served by having her as a part of our birth team. Jules is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to holistic prenatal and postpartum care. During our prenatal visits we laughed, we cried, and Jules held space for me. She answered every question I had, no matter how trivial, and always empowered me to trust my instincts and make the decisions that felt right for me.
— Samantha S.
Jules made me feel taken care of in a way I’ve never experienced before. As soon as my baby boy arrived, she warmed up a delicious meal for me, fed me each bite, helped me sip my water and added electrolytes to it and stayed by my side as I held and bonded with my newborn baby. One of my favorite experiences was her postpartum yoni steam. She brought over all the tools needed and it was the first time since baby arrived that I had done a little something for myself!

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • A doula provides emotional, physical, and spiritual support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A midwife’s role is typically focused on the medical/clinical aspect of the birth while the doula is focused on the mother’s emotional wellbeing and comfort. I like to think of a doula as a wise and well-resourced sister who will guide and hold you through the life-changing process of birth.

  • As early in your pregnancy as possible! With a full-spectrum doula like myself, we can provide clients with so much prenatal support through resources, nutrition, herbs, prenatal lifestyle adjustments, referrals and more. Some clients begin working with me as soon as they find out they’re pregnant, and others can start as late as 34 weeks.

  • I do not attend planned hospital births in most cases. Clients that work with me are typically signing with the intention of birthing at home or a birthing center. If a transfer happens during pregnancy or birth, I am with my client 100% of the way and will support them in the hospital.

  • As your doula, I am here to support you and provide resources for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I put a focus on holistic care, ancestral nutrition, spiritual awakening, and feminine energy in my work. I don’t just want you to have a successful birth, but to move through this experience feeling awakened and empowered in what you have gone through. The spirit of an empowered mother shines like no other.

  • Numerous clinical studies have found that a doulas presence at birth tends to result in shorter labors with fewer complications, reduces potentially negative feelings about one's childbirth should things not go as planned. When a doula is present during and after childbirth, women report greater satisfaction with their birth experience, make more positive assessments of their babies, have fewer c-sections and requests for medical interventions and less risk for postpartum depression.

  • Yes! For those located outside of Austin, TX or that prefer digital support, I do provide the option to work with me remotely. This can look like a digital prenatal or postnatal support package, one-off consults, and/or even virtual support during birth.
